Chile, the narrowest country, the most lonely island, the driest land, also the best place to travel in LP 2017. I was flying to you.

The 9-hour trip was a whole night's sleep, and the sky was getting brighter when I waked up. The windows of flight AA did not use sunshades. A button could make it shaded.

Looking down, there was the endlessness of the bare Andes. The vast sea of clouds was floating on the mountainside. The plane was 2 hours and a half later, that it was already 9:30 pm when it arrived in Santiago. There was another city in my original plan but now I was tied. Well, just enjoy the time in the capital.

The Chinese people on the plane were few and were businessmen, or sent by their companies. I was the only one just for travel. My neighbor passenger who was from Guizhou was picked up by his Chilean colleague, so I took a ride with them to the hotel in the old town.

I defined my travel this time was on a budget, so I just booked hotels around 100 RMB. And I always like to get accommodation in the old town directly, because there focused most core scenic spots, and most of them were space limited that easy to take a walking tour.

My impression of Santiago was that it looked like a small or medium-size town in China. However, here you can overlook the snow-capped Andes Mountains. In fact, it was very close from the airport to the hotel that only took half an hour.

The mottled door of the hotel was closed tightly. I rang the doorbell and went up to the second floor. The girl at the front desk helped me with the check-in. I asked her if it was safe to be outside? Because all Chinese in the airplane instilled a sense of crisis, and friends from other countries agreed, too. This was why I bought two mobile phones in case of being robbed, and prepared a waist bag and an invisible bag. In short, I was highly nervous.

The girl faced the window and told me that it was not safe to walk outside at the left, and it was better in the right part. However, there were more scenic spots on the left side. I was in a dilemma.

After settling down, my stomach began to growl, then I realized that I had forgotten the most important thing.
