Weekend getaway at SEVEN SEAS WATERPARK & RESORT

in travel •  7 years ago  (edited)

My friend from Manila arrived so we decided to take a weekend trip. It’s also like a reunion for us because we have not been together for too long. We decided to have our trip in Seven Seas Waterpark & Resort since it is a newly opened tourist destination in Opol, Misamis Oriental, Philippines.

As you can see, Seven Seas Waterpark and Resort has a pirates theme which you can tell it right away at their entrance. Even their amenities were named base on it. After taking several photos we bought tickets so that we can really see what’s inside.

There are some things you should know when you visit Seven Seas Waterpark and Resort. First is the dress code. Before starting the fun inside you must follow their dress code. For girls, you can only wear a swimsuit, rashguard with board shorts, bikini, and full body wetsuit. For boys, dry-fit shirt, rashguard and board short. Don’t worry about your things because you can leave them in their locker rooms which cost 50pesos/head. Another is that bringing of foods or water is not allowed. You can buy a variety of foods inside.

You’ll probably think that this park is for kids but once you are there you’ll realize that the place is for all. It’s for everyone that wants to have a break and relax, weekend getaway just like us and a place to celebrate a special occasion like birthdays. For people who don’t want to try the rides, you can just sit and relax at their Buccaneer Bay Wave-pool which is one of the main attraction inside the Seven Seas Waterpark and Resort. I'm not sure if the waves are per hour or it really depends on the number of people in the pool.

They've got a lot of amazing and thrilling slides like the big cone you can see at the top which is called cyclone. It's the first ride that we tried. And I tell you, it was really fun. We repeated several times on this ride. Another ride that you should really try when you visit Seven Seas is the Plank Drop. Not everyone have the guts to try it because it is almost a vertical slide. I didn’t have the chance to take a photo on it because I’m the only who tried it. My friends did not accompany me going there. To be honest I’m really afraid but I really want to try it. After I dropped, my feet were shaking so hard and I didn't let my friends see it. But it’s worth it. Sometimes you really have to face your fear. Nothing beats the feeling of trying and end up successfully.

All in all I can really say that this place is really great. At the end of the day even though we are very tired, even our skin is burned by the sun, the most important thing is we had fun and done something different.

Try to visit Seven Seas Waterpark and Resort and experience something great and unforgettable.

Does it have a 360 degrees ride???

I'm not sure what's a 360 degrees ride looks like in a waterpark but I think they don't have it. But when you go there you will really enjoy all their rides @bayanihan.
