The houses around Zurenborg, Antwerp, were build between 1881 and 1914, during the days of Jugendstil, Art Nouveau, Neoclassicism period , in the Eclectic style and cottage style. The "Belle epoque" period as it is called, French term for the beautiful era.

The main street, Cogels-Osylei and the surrounding district has to be indeed, one of the most beautiful walks in Antwerp.
