Pink Floyd's David Gilmour took it to Lindos as did the ancient Greeks.

In the southern Aegean sea on the island of Rhodes, Lindos attracts visitors to the antique site and village, a temple of Lindia Athena build in the 3rd century bc stands on the Acropolis, also a church build in the 14th century and amazing views and a steady climb to reach.
Present day Lindos is a small Greek village with white houses not far from the site.

Views from the Acropolis,

surreal enough for David Gilmour?
David Gilmour owned a house of course in Lindos, which he sold not so long ago.

The actual blueness of the Greek seas once you are there,
