As some of you already know, I was planning a trip to India and now, I'm finally here. Travelling, in general, was good but also very long and frustrating. For first like 5 days travelling also was the most exciting and the most interesting part.
Once we arrived at our hotel, all the problems started. We had 2 hours of talking and dealing with hotel manager, I could sleep at night because of the bugs, I got sun burned and It was too hot. Now we are at the different part of India and thankfully at the way better hotel where I can finally get away from all the people and noisy streets. Anyway, here are few of better pictures I managed to capture during my first week in India.
Tried to capture some street photography type pictures. Don't know how good or bad they actually are, but first one here I really like. The pure happiness and no worries. Nothing more real than the joy of a child.
Animals for me are one of the most favorite things to capture. It's like a form of meditation for me. I just hide somewhere and wait for something to appear or to show up in an unusual way. And also they are almost always cute.
I also had a chance to see the Indian Ocean so I didn't miss my chance and shot few pictures here. For me capturing ocean or sea is quite challenging. Usually, I'm not very satisfied with the result I get. Ocean is an amazing place to experience, but taking pictures of it sometimes might be worthless, because the ocean itself is I don't know, empty? However, I managed to take few shots that I'm kinda happy with.
And the night when we left our hotel, I saw the 'bloody' moon. I'm glad that I have a camera here with me, since I was able to capture the real beauty of the moon.
For anyone wondering is India worth a visit, is it a bad or a good place I can say that it depends on you. It's whether you come here set up positive or negative. Because of that it depends either you'll see the beauty and mysterious gorgeousness or the pollution and problems everywhere.
Great photos, I had a wonderful experience on several occasions, I was just there on a holiday. There is a different pace of life in India and a lot of new experiences.

@pjo - Truly incredible pictures of India, it's culture, city, wildlife and people.. About 8 years ago my brother lived in India for almost 6 months and got to travel on the weekends and check out the country, however all the pictures he took in 6 months do not even compare to just the ones you've shared with your followers in this post.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR TRIP WITH US @pjo NAMASTE

Very glad you like the comment - it was all truth - my brother had been sent to India for his work - and is a mediocre photograoher and has an eye for it.. Your pictures truly are very very impressive.. maybe try to submit some of them into some Steemit contests or other photograph contests that are always being held all over the world. Keep up the good work!

That's actually a great idea. I think I will try participating in few of photography contests. It would be a great opportunity to learn from other photographers, since I'll be following more photography posts with their entries which may help me improve and also I will have a chance to go through my gallery. Thank you, I really forgot about those contests, I have participated in few long time ago, but for some reason they went out f my mind. Thank you again!

Thank you! Glad you liked them. I did got an incredible experience there, but my whole journey there wasn't that enjoyable. India is for sure not a place for me. Now I'm finally back here. Finally I'm surrounded by the cold Lithuanian weather and not by the Indian heat. Cold is closer to my heart than the heat.
Best wishes to you too! ;)
