Usually Jeff gets to travel with my husband... but today he’s flying high with me! We are bringing our sunny Montana skies to Seattle for a day trip. As a stay at home, homeschool mama... I gotta get outta dodge when I can for some ME time!
Jeff is a great travel companion. He’s quiet, but keeps me company and reminds me of home. Who knows where we’ll end up today?! We have zero plans. I’m usually working around everyone else’s schedules, so it’s refreshing to just... go. No expectations, no one saying “Mommy, guess what? Mommy, Can I have candy? Mommy, the dog ate my LEGO!!” 🤯 But, of course, it’s those little voices that also warm my heart. I do love being needed and important enough to be included in their wonderful world. I was even invited to Chico and Gingers wedding! If you didn’t get that memo, Chico (a raccoon) and Ginger (a cheetah) are my daughters best stuffy friends. Gingers family was a little hesitant when she announced she was in love with a raccoon. But they quickly saw how happy they were together. Haha! Yeah, can you see why I should get away for some adult time?

First stop, Biscuit Bitch! Jeff & I were starving. Got up early this morning and caffeinated... this was certainly worth the wait.
It’s a big world for a little cat. Luckily Jeff is fearless! We rode the train to do some shopping. He as excellent taste.
Of course, Seattle is known for its music scene. As we shopped we heard all kinds of great local musicians out to entertain us. I learned today that Jeff loves to Rock!!
It was hard to drag him away, but finally it was time to go home. Needless to say... Jeff and I had an awesome day.
