A careful drive just past Bridgwater will take you to this hidden gem of a beach.

It is the weekend and my wifes birthday is imminent. Having informed me where I was going to be driving I was intrigued. A waterfall? Not many public visiting? Sounds great!

Arriving in the camping site (Home Park Holiday Centre) we parked up and paid the £2 day charge. This was some of the journey down, have to mention steepness here, take sturdy shoes.

The uniform stones in lines were unknown to me. We guessed they were fishing traps. I have since found out they are medieval fishing traps and a possible jetty.

Does not look safe..

One other word of warning; there are signs to beware of imminent rockfalls, have fun out there and thank you for reading.
