ONE DAY IN TORONTO - A NORMAL FLIGHT ATTENDANT LIFE (AND WHAT TO EAT AS A VEGAN)

Hello my dear steemit community,

I have been quite busy lately with my work so I didn't find time to write a new post! But I have couple of days off now and today I would like to share how my normal life looks like as a flight attendant.

Last week I flew to Toronto, but we just had 24 hours time till we flew back to Germany. It was my first time in Canada actually and I was super excited! The flight took around 8 hours and we arrived late around 12 pm in Toronto, the time difference was 6 hours behind german time. I was super tired and so I went to bed straight away.

The next day my working colleagues and I were exploring a bit of Toronto. We were pretty much walking the whole day but it seemed like a cool city- it's soo big! The Canadians are really nice people- always smiling and trying to do some smalltalk. So the first impression was amazing :)

At first we went to a market hall, where they sold food, vegetables, meat and fish. The area was cool because they used old brick stones to build walls and houses and there was also a LOVE sign made out of lockers.

For lunch we went to the hip "Calii Love" Restaurant(a Hawaiian and LA inspired cafe),where they sell smoothie and salad bowls. Perfect as a vegan and a must do if you go to Toronto! I ate a super delicious acai smoothie bowl and my friend a salad bowl with tofu. But I have to admit, it's super expensive! Especially in Canada good healthy food costs much more.

Just outside of Calii Love I discovered this vibrant coloured wall with angel wings! As I'm a big fan of street art I had to take some photos with my friend!

All in all, Toronto was nice but my time was limited and definitely too short. There are too many things to do and see there. But hopefully I will come back soon with my work! Next week on Tuesday I'm flying to Portland and I'm super excited already! I get the chance to stay there 3 or 4 days :)

Thanks for reading guys and I hope you liked that post :) Much love ♥

What an experience! Some of your pictures remind me of Boston, Massachusetts. Being a Flight Attendant, I bet you will be able to visit there one day too! Thank you for sharing your trip.

Hey mosic, thanks for your message! Oh yeah I hope to visit Boston as well one day :)

One can never really tire of enjoying trips even when always travelling..

There is no greater pleasure for someone who likes reading, than to read work that is well written and captured with a personal touch.

So the pleasure is indeed mine. I only wish i could have been able to support more.

Otherwise keep up the quality work, and post original content, relevant and delivered to depth.

And one more thing- do you know of the @asapers? I recommend you follow that account. It is a group that curates high quality content of its followers. And yours certainly is of high quality. They would serve you well.

And then of course, i curate for them, so it would be nice to recommend you again to them, for more curation of your future posts.
Congratulations again.
