Just a quick excursion today, out to Prudhomme Lake on the mainland, east of Prince Rupert, British Columbia. I pulled into a pull-off and took some pictures but didn’t go exploring much because it was cold. There was a small provincial park a couple kilometres up the road but it was closed and gated as well as another turn-off even farther that I want to check out but I was legitimately concerned that
I would have issues getting my car running safely as the highway shoulders were icy (I had a bit of an issue getting the car back on the highway from here) as was the turn-offs at those two locales. It really is quite beautiful though. If you look closely you will see open water, the only place on the lake where the sun actually touched it, there’s a mountain blocking the rest. These photos were from my iPhone 8, I’ll try to post some more from my camera at another time. Enjoy!
