Le Langhe, perla d'Italia. Langhe, pearl of Italy.

Le Langhe si trovano in Piemonte, è un territorio di colline che prosegue a sud-ovest il Monferrato (poca differenza tra le colline e la divisione è geograficamente tenue), giungendo fino alle Alpi Liguri e delimitato a ovest dal fiume Tanaro e a est dalla valle Bormida di Spigno.
Le alture, fra i 400 e gli 800 metri sono disposte in lunghe catene, assottigliate alle creste (o, appunto, langhe nel linguaggio locale) e costituiscono l'alta e media valle del Belbo e la valle di Millesimo.
Prendendo il Belbo come separazione si dice talvolta "bassa Langa", ricca di vigneti di vini titolati piemontesi, quella a sinistra del torrente, e alta Langa, più selvaggia, l'altra.

Il paesaggio è straordinario, di apertissimi panorami, colline su cui trascorre l'occhio dalle creste (sulle quali spesso corrono le strada), profili più secchi di quelli del Monferrato, spesso selvaggio e solitario per le erosioni.
Gli abitanti e le culture locali esprimono intensi valori d'ambiente e talvolta artistici, a cominciare da Alba, medievale, gotica e barocca.
Qua e la qualche monumento di architettura, per non dire dei meravigliosi castelli (Grinzane Cavour e Serralunga d'Alba per esempio), frequenti nel territorio, tuttavia spesso diroccati e trasformati..

Un interessante itinerario parte da Bra, paesi di edifici barocchi per arrivare a Cherasco (paese della lumaca) dove vi è un bellissimo castello dei Visconti, da li rotta verso La Morra, paese medievale dove vi è il Belvedere, ovvero una bellissima terrazza per ammirare tutto il territorio delle Langhe.
Da li giù a Barolo, Monforte d'Alba e Dogliani famosi per i loro vini ricercatissimi al mondo, e ancora giù a sud fino a Murazzano dove vi è una situazione panoramica invidiabile da mezzo mondo, poi dinuovo su a nord fino a Serralunga d'Alba posizionata su un colle maraviglioso e dominata dal castello Falletti di Barolo. Si sale ancora verso Grinzane Cavour dove il conte omonimo visse la giovinezza e soggiornò molto spesso.
Per finire Alba che fa vivere una piacevolissima aria ottocentesca...

The Langhe are located in Piedmont, is a territory of hills that continues to the southwest of the Monferrato (little difference between the hills and the division is geographically small), reaching the Ligurian Alps and delimited to the west by the Tanaro River and east of the valley Bormida di Spigno.

An interesting itinerary starts from Bra, Baroque buildings to get to Cherasco (a snail country) where there is a beautiful Visconti castle, from where you walk to La Morra, a medieval village where there is the Belvedere, or a beautiful terrace to admire All over Langhe.
From here down to Barolo, Monforte d'Alba and Dogliani, famous for their sophisticated wines in the world, and down to the south to Murazzano where there is an enviable panoramic view from the middle of the world, then up north to Serralunga d ' Sunrise set on a marvelous hill and dominated by Falletti Castle of Barolo.
