Another Om (vol.6). Civilization

in travel •  6 years ago  (edited)

Having completed the next part of the walk described in the last parts, I thought that I went to civilization and now asphalt, paths, flower beds, flowers.

1. But civilization is beautiful only by the cover.

2. The coast became more steep and I had to look for a road just off Omsk, where on unknown paths in the forks of a willow, I was flogged by a pack of dogs hanging along these same paths, then I buried myself in a homeless settlement. It's quite a habitable tent-shanty place.

Yes, the wild shore was left behind, hello civilized world.

3. In some places the path led back to Omsk. Again another, not the one at the beginning of the first part and not the one in the third part, but quite so well-stained with the fruits of this very civilization.

4. And this is five minutes from the central, facade highways of the city. Although ... What are these fragments worse than pieces of masonry? And the rest of the garbage than differs from the "archaeological" from the past parts of the story? Probably only time ... The duration of that time, how many did not put things in order in these places. A lot of years will pass and someone in search of the mythical Omsk will photograph all this rubbish and tell you that there was once a nuclear war in ancient Omsk and blah blah blah ... No, well, what else would an adequate person from the future be able to explain all this srach?

5. After moving through all these buggers, I was just in the place where I started my story about another Omk. But this is not the end. Behind 2 kilometers of fascinating walk, and in front of the road a little more to the stop "Tourist".

6. Center of the city, at the side a winding river croaks, but you can not go down to it or just look at it without risk of breaking your legs.

7. Judging by the asphalt leading to the shore, something like a waterfront here not so long ago was. And who prevents now to make this place dwelling and beautiful? After all, only a small area from the Irtysh to the Jubilee Bridge looks a bit decent. Further to Komsomolsk in a tolerable condition. And then there's nothing to talk about ...

8. I went down once more to Omsk.

9. Turning around ... Oh and swam here))) Most likely the remains of one of the houses from the former streets of Baidukov and MOPR.

10. And finally, a view of the embankment of the right bank of Omi, on which our deputies are walking between meetings ...

11. And this same place looked like in the middle of the 60s ...

And for a better comparison, a little "animashka."

I had almost a three-hour walk, I left the thickets on the bank of the river and, as if~back in Omsk,~ teleported to a city center from some distant voyage. An interesting feeling on the background of cognitive dissonance ... That's all ...
