Helsinki: a Stone Island in the Green Sea - Explore the city with me

My first 2-day-stay is in the capital of this awesome country, Helsinki. I have travelled quite a lot and must say that Helsinki is a very unusual city, quiet and safe in comparison to noisy and buzzling capitals like Moscow, Madrid, Stockholm and even Oslo. When you come here you don't even realize that you are in the heart of quite a big country: really few tourists, no beggers on the streets, a very quite torrent of life washing slowly the coast of democracy and equality.

Helsinki is a very changing and unstable city. The photoes below are made within one day with a 1-hour interval.

I would say that my first day here in Helsinki was in a way absolutely unpredictable: simple and attractive people, beautiful and often strange architecture, some of the new-design-trends, enormous portions of delicious food, clean streets and an industry taint on the glazed surface of the city.
We'll see how it will look like tomorrow!
