When I was a child I convinced myself Nessie must exist, but frankly doubt it very much now. A pity, would be so cool if one day it/he/she rose from the depths and proved us wrong.

The rapids looked like real fun.

I believed in all sorts of things as a kid, but they still lack real evidence. People love a mystery

I love they actually put that "monster shot" on the windows, lol! The monster is so mainstream by now I would not even be surprised there would be a button for it on windows paint. :))
Scottish weather is always dramatic, my time there it was not unusual to see Sun, Hail and rain in one day, slapped in with a couple of rainbows.

I thought Nessie ate tourists, and not fish?

Maybe we should have used a child as bait

I have always wanted to go to Scotland. I envision distilleries full of the Scotch the guys love so much and neat historical sites. Seeing the river rapids and that crazy wheel leads me to believe there is so much more to see.

Must get there before it is bucket list time.

You should. The landscapes are amazing

That is funny that they put the stickers on the windows so you can get a picture of the creature! Maybe all of the fish are gone because the monster ate them all :). The tubing on the rapids looks cool. I can see myself getting bashed into the rocks though. I think I would worry about that more than tipping over! The tubing we do in the US, is much more relaxed and gradual!

My wife was not keen on the tubing, especially after she went under

Tubing over here is like a lazy river. Just floating and drinking!

It has been a while since I last were in Scotland. I have to just settle for the Scottish expat I know here in Denmark, quite a few actually. The joke that the weather is slightly better and that the girls are prettier... they have to say that as love is what brought most of them here in the first place.

I would love to go sometime again. My wife who likes to fantasise about moving, sometimes look at housing prices in Helensburgh as she knows I need to live chilly and by the sea.

We did Urquhart Castle on our last trip, the weather was a lot better than what is shows in your pic though, we chose a great time to visit and were lucky. Twice I have been there now, probably enough for a lifetime.

Really very wonderful memories and very beautiful
Well done, my dear
