Another story from Thuy :)
SHARE A STORY: International Friends
(Long but meaningful post ahead)
I'm on this journey alone... but I'm rarely alone. I've connected with just the most incredible strangers that have become my international friends and Id like to acknowledge and thank them for shaping my story. For being a part of this journey...
Fellow Americans going to Europe, you asked me to switch seats so you can sit with your husband. Then we ended up talking the whole flight (Heather/Matt)
Shane (not pictured) you are a wealth of information and our conversations could go on for hours! You're the CRAIC! I'm so glad you hosted me.
Thank you for the beers, nachos... and breaking the lock key to my Dublin bike, Andy LOL you're just the greatest and I can't wait to see you again! (Not pictured)
Aoife it's truly magical how a high honor of being a Top Millennial in our industry has connected us together. I simply adore you!
Patrick recommended I go to Darwins restaurant to meet his Irish best friend, and I ended up discussing books with her incredible mother, D, over tea.
Born in raised in Scotland, James you showed me Edinburgh from a locals point of view. I was delighted to meet your son, Colin over haggis! Thank you, Mary for the introduction.
The creative mind of Ross, our nerding out over philosophy had me so happy we met! Plus playing on the swings? Yes please! Haha
The IMEX Team: We're from all over the world and collaborating together was such a special moment. Miguel, Sarah, Milda, Roger, and many more!
Devi, you asked me to take a photo of you at The Royal Pavilion and we spent the whole afternoon exploring Brighton together. I'm so happy to be a part of your FIRST ever trip outside of India! Solo Female Travel Life!
Max and Stef (not pictured) - from a fancy dinner with the best London views to ordering dinner in while watching Planet Earth, thank you for being my annoying big brother I've never had and my future Asian Pole buddy!
James, how beautifully serendipitous to enjoy wine by Hyde Park. I'm so grateful for the recommendations you gave me! Until next time, #MyLEA family.
And Danny (not pictured) "yeah, you're totally suppose to eat that flower" My friends know, to get tricked by me is the true Thuy experience. "You're the best"
And the adventure continues...![]![]![]()()()
