As mentioned in my previous post, the trees in Whitney Plantation Historic District are very huge and in amazing shapes.

The mosses on each branch of the trees are also wonderful.

The greenery makes the area look alive and refreshing.

The trees in arch shapes along the path look excellent.

It seems like we are princes or princesses walking in fairyland.

The area is very large and the original buildings are still in good condition.

I think it’s worth a visit to this place; i.e. you can learn the history of the slaves and you can admire the surrounding nature at the same time.
