Great post, a lot of useful informations specially for me cause i love to travel and Bali is in my mind for some time now. I didn't notice any information about surfing, which is so popular in Bali. Have you guys tried or maybe you have any useful information about best spots for beginner surfers like me?

I did not go surfing during my trip, most of my time was spent in central Bali. For the few days that I did spend on the beach I did not see waves that would be suitable for surfing, it may have been the wrong time of year. I do know that Canguu is a hot spot for surfing on the island, hoping to get there for my next trip.
