Today, Sam went back to England from Portugal to join up with his University colleagues who were flying in from Bangkok. His University provides a paid for (in the tuition fees already) trip at the end of the MBA program to somewhere in Europe. This time, it happened to be in England. A place he has been multiple times. Yet, there are places on this trip that he has never been to. For example, today, after meeting up at the airport and to keep the whole group awake and avoid jet lag - the tour organisers ensured the day wasn't wasted at the hotel and took us to see two quaint English villages in the Cotswold. An hour and a half west of Heathrow Airport, you'll find yourself in the middle of the Cotswold. Bourton-on-the-water and Bibury are two English villages straight from a period drama series or a Hollywood movie in this area. The limestone cottages, boutique shops, tea rooms and shallow streams all add up to the idea of a perfect little English village(s) and it was. Have you been to these picture perfect villages before? How was your experience?
