Top End Of The Gold Coast

The Queensland Gold Coast is made up of 22 beaches stretching from The Spit at Southport to Rainbow Bay Coolangatta.

The popular beaches are patrolled all year round.

Living at the top end of the coast my favourite beaches are Rainbow, Greenmount and Coolangatta. These beaches are very family friendly.

Occasionallly, a sandbank traps a large pool of water which is ideal for young children and people who aren’t fans of surf.

Snapper Rocks at Coolangatta is a great surfing spot and an excellent location for photography purposes and a fun spot to capture surfers riding waves.

There’s loads of cafes and restaurants along the coast plus picnic area and public toilets.

The best coffee cafe on the coast are:

  • The Paddock Bakery Miami / Palm Beach
  • Little Mali Rainbow Bay
  • Cornerstones Currumbin
  • Bam Baa Mermaid Beach
  • Mervyn Roys Cafe Bilinga

The Goldie is a great spot, some of my favorite surf breaks are there, Snapper particularly when it isnt too crowded (Never haha)

I agree Snapper is an awesome surfing spot.

I have heard Snapper Rocks is lovely. I avoid Gold Coast because of its reputation as a party location but you've shown a lot of different facets that make me reconsider.

You are very beautiful, attractive and exciting
