Like any normal Steemian, we also need to eat something every day. As we were out in the city today and hadn't eaten much, we thought about getting a Biryani.

This Biryiani is an Indian dish. In the restaurant where we ordered it, this is in a clay pot. The clay pot does not have to be returned and so you can use this home for other things.

It was really tasty and we had someone with us for dinner, who also lives here in the guesthouse where we are in Colombo. He comes from South India and so we have a new contact and a lot of first-hand information for our next destination, India.

A proverb says that eating makes you meet people and that's how it is.....

Wie jeder normale Steemian, brauchen wir auch täglich etwas zu essen. Da wir heute in der Stadt unterwegs waren und auch noch wenig gegessen hatte, haben wir uns überlegt, dass wir uns ein Biryani holen.

Dieses Biryiani ist ein indisches Gericht. In dem Restaurant wo wir es bestellt hatten, gibt es dies in einem Tontopf. Der Tontopf muss nicht mehr zurück gebracht werden und so kann man diesen Zuhause wieder für andere Dinge verwenden.

Es war wirklich lecker und wir haben noch jemanden mit dabei gehabt zum Essen, der auch mit hier im Guesthouse wohnt, wo wir uns gerade in Colombo befinden. Er kommt aus Südindien und so haben wir wieder einen neuen Kontakt und viele Infos aus erster Hand für unser nächstes Ziel, Indien.

Ein Sprichwort sagt, beim Essen lernt man Menschen kennen und so ist es auch....
