Motorcycle travel series by @velimir 'Sisak 1' (Part #37)

The rain stopped. I crawl under the bridge just to find out how beautiful it is. Made from stone and bricks, it definitely carries a charm. The locals call it 'The Old Bridge'. It was built from 1925 to 1934. The graffiti saying: 'Lucy I love you' was made from a boat or the guy actually did get wet to get to that base column? :)

The architectural solutions are well incorporated in the surroundings. I love how the white stone was made to work well with the red brick. Very pleasing to the eye.

Maybe some restoration would be in order?

From the top side, it seems quite narrow. Lanterns are quite a nice touch.

Normally people would take shelter from rain under a bridge, you did just the opposite! I found that amusing :))

Btw, did you really crawl under there, @velimir? ;)

My dear, if you've read the previous part you d know I did take the shelter under the bridge as I was soaked wet.... In this part, as it clearly says...the rain stopped...and thus I 'crawled' out....

Oopsie my bad velimir :) I'm kinda reading backwards doing a bit of catchup still hehe.. It says 'I crawl under the bridge just to find out how beautiful it is.' though..that's why I was confused..

Happens ;)

Great images and great description it looks like we all are standing on the bridge and archeologist telling us the story.
You again rocks. I was unable to follow you for sometime but I am back now.

heeey wb! :) where were you, dear?
