I went to Israel last year, I spend one month there. I arrived there in the moment of the 3 most important holiday of the country. I went with a brazilian friend, visit a israelian friend.

We arrive there in the moment of Ian Kipur, Rosh Rashana and Sukot. Was amazing experienced all this holidays, this Jewish tradition, so different of our ocidental culture. Ian Kipur is a holiday which the Jewish people make fasting, maditate and pray, is a day to think about our atittude and ask sorry for our mistakes. This day all the country stops, you don't see anybody in the streets and also the transport public stops. Rosh Rashana is the Jewish New Year, is a really festive moment, happy, where all families are together, eating, sharing, celebrating life. Sukot is a week where the Jewish people remember when they are nomades, when they use to camp, walk and change the place; so they make tents outside the house, called Suka, where they eat inside this tent one week. Is really beautiful see all this culture alive.

First we visit Tel Aviv, for me, looks like a small São Paulo with beach and speaking hebrew. I love the beach there and the sand is so withe and soft! In Tel Aviv we went for some bars, in the South, close to the old part of the city called Jafa. There is so nice, have some bars in the same style of the bars of Vila Madalena in São Paulo. We went also to a nightclub called Block, a black place in the center of Tel Aviv, with different spaces inside, different sounds, similar to the nightclubs of Berlim.

We went to Jerusalem, to the Wall, we came inside and the energy there is so strong, the faith of the people is really powerful. We can feel all this energy around. For me was so especial has the opportunity to pray to a importante person of my family. We visit also the makert in Jerusalem, full of beautiful traditional arts.

After we went to En Gedi in the Dead Sea, was the most hot place of my life! We visit some Spa, to enjoy a day in the water, relaxing, passing the mud in the body. At night we sleep inside a tend like Baduins tends, and we wake up with a super stunning sunrise, the sun and the dead see in the desert, super beautiful colors, I'll never forgot.

In the morning we went to the old city Massada, in the top of the mountain in the Dead Sea. This place is really amazing, it's a old Jewish city of a thousand year, and now just ruin, pieces of this old civilization, pieces of paintings, mosaics; really impresses see the expressions of this people, their poetic, their way to live.

To finalize the visit in the Dead Sea, we visit a Quibuts, which is a Botânic Garden, full of trees and plants of all world. Super beautiful and crazy place, full of green and alive in the middle of the desert.

I spend also some time in the house of a israelian friend, in a small place called Beit Ytzhak; a place like 40 minuts of Tel Aviv, full of farms, animals, really peaceful. My friend have in his house a "boiler", a big space to dance and create art; so I was happy spending some time playing in this place; also with the kids of the neighborhood playing soccer.

I don't know why, but I have a strong connection with israelians, maybe because my Jewish ancestors, I really love this people! They are so nice and helpfull, I feel like they are one of the most gentle people, was really great know their culture in this time of the year to understand more also my roots. In the end we are all a big family!

Other thing that I really apprecieted in this country is the food! Wow!! Super tasty, full of flavors and spices, was amazing try all that delicious!!

My trip finish with a stunning sunset, letting a warm sensation in my heart and soul, a bliss!
