About Gujarat
Gujarat or "the land of great men" is the most important state in the western part of the country. The vast Arabian Sea has its geographical boundary and the Sindh province of Pakistan is situated in the west, Rajasthan in the north, Maharashtra state in the south, Daman, Diu and Dadra and the central region and Madhya Pradesh in the east and Gujarat is all about its wonderful landscape. The reason seems unique. The capital of Gujarat is Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad is the most important city here.
The area of Gujarat is approximately 196,024 square kilometers and according to the census of 2011, the total population of the state is 60,383,628. Due to the birthplace of many famous people of India like Mahatma Gandhi and Vallabhbhai Patel, the cultural and traditional heritage of this place is very rich and it enhances the state's glory. The summers here are very hot and hard and the winters are light and pleasant. Monsoon often rains in the southern part of the state and the northwestern part remains dry for a whole year. Gujarat is friendly for education related tourism because there can be a lot to learn about the different characteristics of Indian culture. The Gujarat government is very active and there are 182 assembly constituencies. First Gujarat came under Bombay State (which is today Maharashtra and Gujarat) and in 1960 it became a separate state
