Gestern waren wir auf einer Geocaching Runde und sind dabei an einer alten Bekannten vorbeigekommen. Die Ruine der Küssaburg im Klettgau.

Wer hier vorbeikommt sollte unbedingt einen kleinen Abstecher machen. Der Gasthof Küssaburg lädt mit Kaffee und Kuchen am Nachmittag und und leckeren Gerichten zu Mittags- und Abentisch ein.

Vor allem gibt es da Parkplätze. Von dort aus geht über einen kurzen heftigen Anstieg auf den Burgfelsen.

Die historisch viel umkämpfte Küssaburg wurde teilweise wieder hergerichtet und ist fast vollständig für Besucher zugänglich. Man kann sogar einmal komplett im Burggraben drumherum herum gehen.

Ganz besonders gut eignet sich die Ruine als Location für ein Mittelater-Foto-Shooting. Sobald ich aus dem Urlaub zurück bin werde ich davon ein paar Bilder posten.

Als wir wieder runter sind ging die Sonne gerade unter und gab noch ein farbenfrohes Lichtspielhaus zum besten, das mich doch sehr beeindruckte.
