I had a great time in Bangladesh, it is a wonderful country, and everyone I met was so polite and welcoming (a stark contrast to my experience in India). One note of caution, the tourist infrastructure is not as well developed as it is in other Asian countries, I was lucky to have a friend's parents who lived there. If you don't know anyone there, make sure you do a bit of preparation before you go. It is absolutely worth it! Make sure you try the 7 layer tea!
