That is a great idea to protect those trees that sometimes older then us. In Japan after Hiroshima bombing only four were charred, but survived and after a great fire in Tokyo after earthquake in 1923 those trees survive too. It looks like they are quite resistant and if we help them a bit they may get really old people says up to 3000 years :)
