Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Tree Tuesday
This week I imaged some of the remaining Plum Tree Blooms wile there were some left.
Plum tree blooms like the Cherry blooms are only with us for a few short weeks a year. The Plum trees here have been blooming for the last 3 or so weeks and are almost done. Many have dropped their blooms and begun putting out their deep red leaves.
Below are some of the last Plum blooms of the year I managed to image despite the wind foiling my attempts to do so.
About 90% of the shots in this run had too much motion blur to use but I did manage to get a few.
Also since I missed #monochromemonday this week I did two versions of each shot, one in Color and the other in Monochrome.
All the bloom images were shot @ 600mm at aprox. 12- 15 feet away. I'm practicing with the big glass still.
I'm still using the Canon EOS Rebel T7. When I first hooked the Sigma up to this camera, it reminded me of the time a buddy and myself stuffed a Porsche 2180 motor into a fiberglass V.W. Dune Buggy. lol The T7 is doing OK but I have my eye on another at the moment O.o
That's all I have for you this week. Over the next week or 2 the Cherry trees will start to bloom and splash the city with color again, =)
Next week I'll probably be back in the tall trees again imaging Evergreens.
One wrong step away from certain doom. lol
