The challenge

Today is about a problem that affects many of us.

About 14 days ago, I was sitting comfortably in front of my computer at lunchtime and wanted to browse a bit on You Tube.
Suddenly, a pop-up came up saying that I was using an ad blocker and that I would be blocked if I didn't deactivate it or take out a premium subscription.
This message came up regularly for a few days until I was suddenly blocked after watching 3 more videos.
In the last few days, I could only watch the preview in mini format, where the current videos are displayed.
The music videos were completely blocked and no sound could be activated.
Now that I was about to sign up for a subscription, I came across a You Tube ad blocker this morning that works again.

The solution

uBlock Origin is the name of this add-on, which I then installed and deactivated the old blocker.
Apparently, uBlock Origin does not work at first, but there is a trick.
In the settings, go to "Filter lists" and delete all caches with the button "Delete all caches".
Once you have done this, click on the button "Update all" and after restarting Firefox you can look at what you want again.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to say how long uBlock Origin will continue to work, but there will certainly be a solution.
