Beautiful inspirations found on the road... from Laos

in trip •  7 years ago

More than the magnificent landscapes or tourist spots, it is the people and projects I meet when travelling that appeal to me. That often pushes me to see things from a new perspective and inspires me. That's what I learned.

Oh, and I'm in the middle of a sabbatical year, traveling to Asia in the form of trade in services whenever possible. I share with you the inspiring moments I have met along the way, little by little.

I hope it will inspire you just as much... let's breathe and go!

Keeping humor and absurdity in everyday life /a woman on horseback

I met him at Bamboo School (see below). She looked perfectly normal at first sight. And as nice and funny, after spending a few days with her. Soon after we discovered her other self, the Horse Woman. In fact, she always travels with a horse mask with her. A little orange, and with mane hair!

Why? Why? to surprise people and share funny and incongruous photos with friends. e. s. Strange, but simple and powerful.

Thank you, Woman Horse.

After a few months of traveling, I can barely get out of the "routine" state of mind I had. To see with perspective more often, out of the frame or my usual reflexes. But how do you keep that out of the way?

If your boss came back to an important meeting with a horse mask, it'd be a little upsetting to your routine, wouldn't it? Without going that far, I think keeping a little humor and absurdity in your everyday life can help. Like a mistake in the matrix, a nice little discharge, which puts things in perspective from time to time.

Next step: practice! And you, have you ever had any absurdities intentionally put into your day?

I definitely agree, a little change helps break the monotony of everyday life.
Your life seems very interesting at the moment, traveling across Asia for a year sounds like a big change in lifestyle.
Love the picture with the horse mask, keep up the great work!
