I used to live in Odawara a town in Kanagawa, not to far away from Tokyo and near Hakone. This weekend I went back to Kanagawa for a 10km run and to see the cherry blossoms. Heres some pictures of the cherry blossoms at Odawara castle. The cherry blossoms are not quite fully blooming now, so if you're in Tokyo or Yokohama and want to see a castle with some blossoms, you should get over there soon.
Also this weekend there was a Kamaboko festival at the castle. Kamaboko is fish and rice mixed up really finely and eaten hot or cold. I had Okonomiyaki with Kamaboko inside, a weird combination. The festival wasn't big, but it was nice.
