Have you noticed that when you are hurt, it only hurts for as long as you actually think and speak about it. Or if you are sunburned, it is only terrible for as long as you focus on it (to a certain degree). I have used this strategy when my kids gets sunburnt. If they are really read and itching and in pain, give them a phone and a good movie or a Playstation with a game to play. Do you know what kind of effect it will have? It is capable of doing wonders!
It is about rejecting or forgetting about your sense of injury, and suddenly, the injury itself disappears, or at least, it will not take such a big part of your life. It is often about focus!
So, try to forget about those hurts and injuries, and rather focus on the opposite, or on something better. Give thanks to God as well for helping you improve and for helping you to make things better.
And hopefully, in the end, you will see that the injury itself will disappear, and you will be triumphant on the other side!
