Everything that exists outside man also exists inside, in his unconscious and sometimes in his conscious, when the hidden aspect has manifested.
It is common to see people horrified by violent and criminal behavior, but if they deepened, entering the waters of their dark side, they would realize that there is nothing alien to man.
Thus the murderer and the saint coexist, the knight and the villain, the witch and the maiden, the goddess and the prostitute, the warrior and the coward. Everything that exists in the world is also in our sphere of shadow; but only the brave is able to unmask them and make passes with their dark side. Only by facing these shadows can we see our duality and only by seeing can we master them, in order to be the master of our actions, thoughts and even more of our emotions.
In the shadows of the unconscious we also find the child who must resolve the love - hate duality, jealousy and the desire to get rid of all those who steal the attention of their parents. To that child who must face individualization and separation. And that must also to not trust to trust, but not to distrust too much, not to stop interacting. We will see the adolescent face his desires and not allow himself to be dragged by them, to mature to the domain of pleasure and pain without anyone dominating him. And we will see the young adult who must learn to leave behind the child and assume responsibilities without this embittering or away from peace or joy.
He who perseveres in the search for his true self, will dominate his soul, the animal with a thousand heads, which is our unconscious. And as a true rider, he will learn to guide his emotions and his destiny, with the reins of his will.
