5ED25639-7934-48C8-8F33-0774577BB2C1.jpegI’m at a (Please, God, KILL ME.) Seattle area truck stop. I have to take a 24 hour break since I’m out of hours.

During this time, I dealt with the same cashier on two occasions, I love this guy. While others might describe his behavior as terse, I thought of him as nothing but efficient.

He was able to quickly deal with my transactions while taking care of other business at the same time.

As a truck driver, I know that time is of the essence. Others that also appreciate the value of time are my allies.

This guy, while appearing indifferent, was dedicated to both his and my goal, and our goal is to, quite simply, not piss away any single precious moment.

Ever.
