YES! Just like that.
But they were brown...kinda like Sand Hill Cranes.
Being able to fly in , land and take off vertically saved a lot of time.
They used a pelican for a parts carrier.

I am from Central Illinois, where Cat's headquarters were up until a few months back. Well regardless of that they still make a lot of equipment around here and you can see a lot of it being hauled out on railroad cars!

I hauled a BUNCH of stuff out of Peoria. We had a drop yard in Morton.

Nice! Where did you take most of that equipment?

anywhere they wanted me to.

Haha! Good answer!

I guess if you broke down it could haul you.

Without a doubt, powerful machines :-D

Yup...it was moved in pieces...it took several trucks to move it. My buddy got the bed. I got the Chasiss...other trucks carried the wheels and whatnot.

Escorts front and rears..'superload' permit in Virginia...ONLY night move of all things..
Police escort in North Carolina..NO nights (that part was tricky)

Did you actually got to ride it? That thing is just huge, geez!

There are much larger ones made today. the triple-seven is an OLD machine.

Still huge lol

Kinda perfect for some autobots

Wow, this is really clean shot of cat rock truck, really love this truck because of it abilities

Wow, that's nice. Beautiful photograph. Nice work sir.

It's an interesting process getting haul trucks onto a lowboy. A lot of physical effort goes into it as well. The work involved in just getting equipment to the work site is under appreciated. I was hoping to see some of the work you have done. Thanks.

This is great. It takes a powerful man to hauled these. You just proved to be one of the powerful men out there

Saw one of these a number of years ago quite impressive seeing it in person. Saw video of some of the bigger ones, Sparewood truly amazing
