Of course the conspiracy theories are popping up about why the Secret Service failed to act sooner to prevent Trump from being shot.
This is another case where the reason is so obvious that people are overlooking it. The Secret Service is less competent than ever because of its DEI measures.
When the goal of the Secret Service becomes that they want to have thirty percent female agents rather than having the goal be to do the job that you're supposed to do, you're going to have a less competent agency.
When they were getting Trump into the car, you can even see one of the agents trying and failing to reholster her weapon.
Their job is security. I don't know about any of you; but, if I needed security, I would want everybody who is there to protect me to be bigger than me, stronger than me, and better with a gun than me.
I'm sure that there were a lot of specific mistakes made by several agents. I'm sure that not all of the mistakes were made by DEI hires. But, yeah, if I'm hiring security, and one of the people that they're offering to protect me is a foot shorter than me, out of shape, and can't reholster a gun in fewer than ten seconds, I think I'd go with another company.
