FBI Looking Into Jared Kushner?

in trump •  8 years ago

Ambassador Sergey Kislyak reported to his superiors in Moscow that Kushner, son-in-law and confidant to then-President-elect Trump, made the proposal during a meeting on Dec. 1 or 2 at Trump Tower, according to intercepts of Russian communications that were reviewed by U.S. officials. Kislyak said Kushner suggested using Russian diplomatic facilities in the United States for the communications.
The meeting also was attended by Michael Flynn, Trump’s first national security adviser.

The FBI investigation into President Trump’s Russia ties has been inching closer to the White House and, on Thursday, according to the Washington Post and NBC News, Trump senior adviser Jared Kushner is now a focus of the ongoing probe. Kushner, who is also Trump’s son-in-law, is the first person currently serving in the administration known to be considered a focal point of the FBI inquiry.

Put simply, in secret meetings in December, Jared Kushner proposed to Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak setting up a “back channel” so the Trump team could communicate secretly and securely with Moscow. But this use of the phrase “back channel” does a serious disservice to back channels. A back channel is secret and unofficial communication through trust intermediaries that goes around the national security and diplomatic bureaucracy and provides some plausible deniability. Kushner proposed using the Russian government’s own secure communication facilities, presumably housed in Russian diplomatic facilities in Washington and New York, to communicate with Moscow behind the back of the US government, state, intelligence apparatus, military, etc.
Why exactly would you want to do that?

NSA Has Determined Barron Trump Had a Russian Friend on Facebook - Dems Call For Impeachment

Ever thought that perhaps the POTUS elect knew he was being spied upon by Obama/Rice and company? Sorry but the endless Russian BS ain't gonna stick. Besides I take no issue with a POTUS elect wanting to communicate with a powerhouse like Russia- much better than the war mongering cold war mentality the leftist fascist deepsate pedos push. There's also actually much more to open channels of communications between Trump and Russia for the good of all humanity but you wouldn't believe me if I told you so I'll just wait for it to go public- which it will.

Ever thought that perhaps the POTUS elect knew he was being spied upon by Obama/Rice and company?

Why, yes, I remember Trump making this assertion in a tweet. And, yes, I remember shocked and angry members of Congress of both parties saying that Trump's bombshell required that Trump provide actual evidence to substantiate his claim or that he should offer Obama a complete and abject apology. But, no, I don't remember him ever doing either of those things.

Oh you don't recall Rice and unmasking? Conveniently brushed over by the media but clearly supports Trumps assertion- Obama/ Rice and the DNC defacto were surveilling Trump.

It does no such thing.

Hayden told CNN that it makes sense that Rice would have tried to determine who Kislyak and his superiors in Moscow were talking about when they said someone on the Trump transition team wanted to set up a secret backchannel line of communication.
