President Donald Trump formally ordered the ban of transgender troops in the United States military (US). The memo of Trump's order has been received by Defense Secretary James Norman Mattis.
The ban on transgender troops in the US military service has been long. However, in the Obama era, the ban was lifted. Obama's policy at that time was accompanied by the granting of authority to the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security to fund transgender transgender sex change operations.
"In my judgment," Trump wrote in his memo. "The previous administration failed to identify sufficient grounds to conclude that ending the policies and practices of the Department of Foreign Affairs would not impede the effectiveness of the military and shut down unitary unity, or military resources."
The Trump memo called for the suspension of all transgender surgery and sex treatment funds. "Except as far as it takes to protect the health of a person who has started treatment for his gender," the Trump memo said on Saturday (8/26/2017).
A White House official who briefed journalists about the memo refused to determine whether male and female transgender officers currently active in the military could continue to serve on the basis of the criteria.
The official said that Trump decided the Obama-era administration did not identify an adequate basis for changing what was then the old policy of transgender troops.
The memo asked Mattis to submit a plan to Trump on February 21, 2018, on how to implement the change.
Trump's decision sparked criticism from rights advocacy groups on gender.
"The president's order to remove transgender service members from the US armed forces and deny them that health care is nothing but cleaning," criticized Matt Thorn, executive director of OutServe-SLDN, a group dedicated to LGBT equality in the military, in a statement.
"Our military is strongest when all those who are worthy to have the opportunity to do so." This unprecedented policy is to clean up the quality forces and and will only undermine unit cohesion and weaken military readiness, "added Jennifer Levi, an official in the gay rights group , GLAD-GLBTQ Legal Advocates and Defenders
This man claims to have evidence if Michelle Obama is a man
Former US First Lady, Michelle Obama, referred to as a man in the past by Alex Jones.
A far-right conspiracy theorist, Alex Jones, claims to have evidence if the former first lady, Michelle Obama, is a man. It was expressed in a video duration 12 minutes.
In the video, the host of Infowars is analyzing the recording and photos he is sure proves that Michelle has a penis.
"Since the beginning of the Obama administration, citizens across the country have been studying the videos and photos of Michelle Obama and say that she is a man," the surprise statement was sliding from the host.
"And even Barack Obama has called Michael over and over again, but the latest shock record has emerged that is censored from the internet as fast as you can upload it," he continued the host as quoted from the Independent on Saturday (8/26/2017).
In the video, Jones shows a series of Michelle pictures and shows a crease on the dress and pants that he says is proof that he has a penis.
The "surprise" record is a short clip that shows someone saying: "Michelle is a transgender, we all know".
Jones added: "Now I'm not saying that Michelle Obama is a tran and I do not hate trannies I'm a libertarian but we have famous photos of him where he seems to have a big bulge in his trousers."
"Michelle appeared in photos and videos to have a huge penis in her pants, her shoulders are wide, her face is very, very masculine, she looks like a tranny," she continued.
"So you ask yourself whether the children are beards for Obama and of course Michelle Obama or Michael Obama as he phone to him," he said.
Jones later showed a video about Obama's speech at a military base in Arlington, Virginia, where he said "Michael and I".
But there is no hint that Obama is referring to his wife and not someone who is actually named Michael.
