Papillon's work in Squatter Camps and Townships!

May it be noted for the record that The Papillon Foundation has thus far, freely distributed 422 Tons of donated goods to poor areas across the country! The goods consist of clothing, blankets, bedding, furniture, appliances, equipment, toys, presents, toiletries, soap and many other items! We normally distribute to NGO's and missions in the affected areas. This is done to prevent theft and to have transparent records of the receivers! Once they know that the goods are listed on their names, it helps to stop them from selling it and it prevents scammers.
Papillon also holds several outreach events, such as the Mandela Day outreach to Old Age Homes and Child Care Centers. We also have Easter and Christmas parties for orphans, street children and needy children.
I will post a run about each of the places that Papillon supports. Bear in mind that Papillon also runs several other projects focused on skills training as it is our belief that free hand outs creates dependency. Instead, we strive to upskill un-employed community members, the youth and even children in our aim to create community improvement.
