The Falcon and the Winter Solider Disney+ Series Update

As you already know, The Falcon and the Winter Solider will be the first Marvel TV series to hit Disney+ so it's already in production.

We got our first set photo which shows Sebastian Stan with a new and much cleaner look. This is a new Bucky in a post Captain America world.

As the name of the show tells us and as Anthony Mackie confirmed, he will still be the Falcon and not the new Captain America. Leaving me to speculate that Chris Evans Captain America might return some day in the future, comic book style or that he will earn the name at the end of the show.

Concept art that leaked online shows that the superhero costumes all got changed for the series.

Winter Solider looks much more red and blue. Probably to honor Captain America or to resemble him. Even the star on his arm is back and now it is white and not red.

Anthony Mackie's Falcon new costume looks nothing like Captain America. Version of a more Captain America costume for Falcon have flooded the internet, but this seems much more comic book Falcon from the old days. No Captain America hint on that suit. Which means either he chooses to remain Falcon, or that someone takes the mental of Captain America from him, or that he will get that different costume at the end of the show.

Sharon Carter, played by Emily VanCamp, also gets a concept art photo and she looks much more action ready than usual. She looks like a leader of a strike team.

We also get concept art for U.S. Agent, who will be played by Wyatt Russell. He look much more like Captain America. This probably confirms the theory that the government doesn't want to accept Falcon as the new Captain America and wants to instate their own Captain. This new Captain will probably be an asshole unlike Steve and Sam.

All this government intrigue will probably be more Captain America: Winter Solider style which will make for a very compelling TV show. And we already know from Captain America: Civil War that the chemistry between Stan and Mackie onscreen is pretty great. I still think that they need a Chris Evans cameo to really sell the show, but I will probably watch it no matter what.
