I rarely do anything with tv or film. I think this post is important this will bring great sadness to TPB fans. Jim Lahey has passed away earlier today. I think Trailer Park Boys is one of the modern comedy greats

R.I.P. Jim Lahey


John played as Jim Lahey the park supervisor of sunnyvale trailer park.
Lore about the show says that Lahey was a big bad cop before he became a supervisor at sunnyvale.

Julian Ricky and Bubbles

According to trailer park boys lore these guys right here pulled a prank on Mr. Lahey back when they were kids. This lead to him being fired from the police force and he turned into an alcoholic and settled with the job of supervisor. Jim Lahey would go on to try to stop Julian Ricky and Bubbles whenever he could leading to a ultimate battle between them and the once great trailer park supervisor. Even though he turned into a trailer park supervisor he worked real hard to keep the peace and rise the standard in the park.

His second and third half

Randy was laheys trusted assistant against the onslaught of the evil Julian Ricky and Bubbles. Randy supported every action of Jim Lahey to protect the park. No matter what the task was randy was there.

They were butt buddies as well.

Often they would role play dress up.

3rd Half

Jim had a wife named barb who he divorced from and most of the fighting that they have is partially the downfall of their relationships/the flaws of lahey/his alcoholism/taking over the park and of course randy. Barb went to date the Chief of Police in the local town as a smack to Mr. Laheys face.

Over the course of the show Mr Lahey would go back and forth between Randy and Mrs Lahey.

The main livelihood of Mr Lahey was to get Julian Ricky and Bubbles in jail. He wanted revenge for them screwing him over when he was a cop. He would go through with outrageous plans to get them locked up. Allowing them to do crimes for a little while and him being a spy. He would do whatever he thought he could in his power. Most of the times the plans did not work and it brought him into a alcohol mania. He would gain confidence and go all out on his wanting to be a cop fantasy. Sometimes he would get them locked up and other times he would be the one locked up. It is almost like he needed the trio around to act this crusade out. Without them there would be total peace in the park.

Shit-isms

Montage starting with shitisms leading into ultimate drunkenness
With the word shit Mr. Lahey would offer wisdom and warnings to Julian Ricky and Bubbles.
He would try to throw that in whenever he could.

The future.

Who would replace him in a acting sense?


I think they should bring back corey and trevor as a duo to get back at julian ricky and bubbles for their years of abuse.
At this point I think this is the best idea that they could come up with.
Another thing that could happen is a cheers-like grabbing of new talent to have him act like Lahey.

I do not know if there has been a better drunk in the history of all acting.
He does not even drink in real life it shows some dedication to act like this and be like hey your going to fall right here and here and go into work and do it over and over again.

I am going to celebrate your passing by getting the most drunk I possibly can and pour a little bit out in your honor.
