"Hello, I'm a the Doctor!" "Doctor who?!?"

I met the Doctor when I met my husband, a few years ago.

He was/is a whovian and so he asked me If I knew The Doctor. I didn't know what he talked about and my answer was "Doctor Who?" and he said me "Right!" ^_^

"Doctor Who" is a British tv series ran from 1963 and the stories are about the adventures of a Time Lord called The Doctor.

My "first" Doctor was Matt Smith, the eleventh Doctor, and I was falling in love with him!  The " Raggedy Doctor" has a big smile and a nice bow tie, he's funny and friendly. When the Eleventh Doctor was ready for the new incarnation, I watched the previous series, the Christmas' specials and the spin off "Torchwood" (I love it!!!!) where I saw for the first time Peter Capaldi, the current Doctor ^_^

Here you can read more info about the series of "Doctor Who": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Doctor_(Doctor_Who)

In the previous pics you can see me and Paolo in front of the Tardis in London ;)

Ok, me and my husband @paolobeneforti are whovian and our dream is to have a real Tardis to explore the Universe ;)

"Geronimo!!!!!"

doctor who is a super tv series! love it!

yesssssssss, it's super! ^_^

!!)))
also a little bit seems be close to the Lexx (the 90-ties tv series), but britich stylish

I never watch The Lexx, but I add it on my list ;) When I was a child I watched "Sapphire & Steel" (British science-fiction '79/'82) and, later, the forever-green Star Trek ;)

wow, I've never see "Sapphire & Steel". I'll remember, tnx, @silviabeneforti

I plan to watch it already for two years. But I just can't figure out where to start, had the same problem with Star Track:)

Inber, my tip is to start from the Doctor n. 9 (Eccleston), the first season of the new series (Doctor Who ran from '63 to '96 and after from 2005 at now). My favorite is the Eleventh Doctor, but the 9° is a good start ^_^

Thanks for the clue:) I just hope that if I'm not starting from the very first I won't be lost in the plot:)

Mine too! :)

I love whole plot with River Song. It was so well written. Everything was planned so early. River Song appeared first time in episode with 10th doctor.

One of two my favorites villains of doctor who is also from times of 11th - The Silence :) Two episodes with about Moon Landing - that was Epic :)

PS. I was in London few times. I was surprised that this is so difficult to find souvenirs with Doctor Who. I am very jealous that you have a picture with a Tardis. Where it can be found in London?

The Tardis was near the Underground station "Earls Court" (we was in London in the April 2016), but it's difficult to find any souvenirs about the Doctor. We find only few souvenirs (If my memory serves ^_^) in a little bookshop in Baker Street ;)
I love River Song and her love-story with the Doctor, it's so romantic! Sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes funny, but ever so romantic!
One of the last characters that I prefer is Missy and her outfit ;)

ALLONS Y! ^^

It will be fun @silviabeneforti .Thanks for the photo

It's really a funny tv series ^_^ Thanks so much @madlenfox !

I spent many hours as a kid watching Doctor Who from behind the sofa- it was scary stuff!

We love especially the Special Edition for the 50 years, where there are 4 Doctors ( the Cameo of Tom Baker is super!)

wellcome in steemit, hopefully not bored here. @silviabeneforti

Thanks @indram24 ! Absolutely not bored here ^_^
