Music & TV Way Back Challenges (Day 4 for TWB)

For TWB?

Yes TWB. @thewritersblock. This is day 4 of a seven day challenge to help @gmuxx pay back his loan to get over here from Europe. I am sending all the liquid SBD proceeds from all 7 posts of this challenge to The Writer's Block. I want to meet you too man, and I will, so this is my way of saying thanks for making the sacrifice to come out. I know it can't be easy, I've done my fair share of traveling abroad and expect it will be commonplace again soon enough. See you soon!

Wayyyy Back

This is day two of both my #tvshowwaybackchallenge (initiated by @saffisara) and the #musicwaybackchallenge (started by @greek-trail). Since Sara tagged me for both of these (thanks hun), and I promised I would do them, I am making them both in the same post(s). So, here we go!

The Music

For my fourth choice, there is no more mommy dearest. This is where I start coming into my own and finding out who I am. My childhood wasn't great. I had to learn very quickly growing up on the reservation, how to fight. I joined wrestling and learned how to box. Motivation for the soul came in many forms. The earliest of these aggressive mental libraries starts with Metallica - "Damage Incorporated". I also really like another from the Master of Puppets albm called "The Thing That Should Not Be" which I included as it was also the the same time and place of my molding.

The Boob Tube

Just as Metallica laid down the building blocks for my aggression, this movie, more than any other, set the foundation to the way I challenge beliefs and also helped me find inner peace throughout the struggles I faced every day. Return of the Jedi. I didn't see it until a few years after it had come out but, I identified heavily with Han Solo, being the pirate he was. I also loved Obi Wan's insight and drooled over the stately ominous presence of Darth Vader. That being said, if I were in the Star Wars series, I would be the one I created, The Juyo Deity, walking the line of a chaotic neutral justicar.
