Starcraft 2 used to be one of the top streaming esports on twitch. It was pretty much what propelled ESports to where it was today. Starcraft broadcasted on television and pro gamers making good money and attracting alot of fandom. I really like the strategy, mind games, formation, and builds that make the game the best RTS game in history. Clearly, the community doesn't think so and it slowly drops in the rankings of twitch viewers every month that goes by. I still watch starcraft but i'm also losing interest because alot of the pro gamers seemed to have moved onto newer games or just stopped playing competitively.
I try to support the esports community and want to know why Starcraft 2 is slowly dying?
I'm a huge fan of the game too. I was bummed to find out that they are no longer doing Starcraft Pro-League in Korea anymore. I guess people are moving on to other games.
