Have you heard about the approaching Twitter Apocalypse?
Apparently Twitter is cracking down on politically incorrect user's accounts soon (who knows what this actually means but, possibly a mass ban).
I've "behaved" for the most part on my own Twitter account however, if the fact that I follow and interact with freedom-minded libertarians incriminates me (as the webz-chatter says it might) then this might slot me for the cut. I actually will be amused if I am.
So, in anticipation of the great culling allegedly about to happen on Twitter, I decided to make a Gab account (already have had a Minds account for a little while now).
I don't think this is going to bode well for Twitter... it seems like they are actually just dropping a bomb on themselves. I spose we'll find out very soon...
Well, I hope they ban as many people as possible, to create their commie safe-space. It's what they want to do anyway, get to it! And go bankrupt already... Can't wait!
I have a gab account, but I doubt it is a legitimate competitor, for now. It's formed (almost solely) out of people that were chased away from mainstream platform, this can only take you so far. But we'll see how it changes over time :)

Good point, Gab may not be viable competition.

Gab has its uses, don't get me wrong, but places that market themselves as a more general idealistic platform, such as Minds are probably better contenders (though I'm not that big of a fan of their UI). Also, decentralised platforms, such as the one we're on now, are probably better, since they're not controlled by a small elite.

100% agree, decentralized where shareholders ARE users is the most ideal.

Well, to be fair, the whales still hold more say here, but that makes sense, at least here we have a say. It's proportional to our worth, but there is a say.
