that said this thing is a full-blown pc that can give normalsized rigs the same price a good run for the money probably seeing as it flawlessly runs elden ring under a software layer on linux (thegame is made for windows and SteamOs is an optimized fork of linux if you wanna call it that), that should say enough, better than "it can run microsoft word" (because it can)

plug in a screen and a bluetooth keyb and mouse and you have enough processing power to send 100.000 apollo missions ten times to mars and back (probably more)

with a touchscreen and we have to say, how they do the sound ,no clue but its fairly amazing

if you're that camper or offgrid person - you probably HAVE a small screen to mid that doesnt use too much, if that has hdmi all you need is an usb-c to hdmi adapted but i hurr there's docks available that have slots up wazooland and the thing with gear like this is : since its open for whatever, no breaking required, it attracts a certain kind of tinkers who have like the mmo-gnome gene , we bet (but havent confirmed there's already plenty of gadgets, attachments, replacements and repair parts available by third parties (some people just do that for a hobby and the find out like HEY someone WANTS this ...) - if this were the 80s it could have been the 64 (somewhat ... ofourse not completely)

well from 3am til now (6pm) thats about minus 5 kwh it rained today too so its far from full capacity , in the process of measuring what we can , the boiler in the bathroom (1 week measured) averages about 1,42 / day , havent checked the fridge/freezer fully but assuming about 1.5 - 3 , the whole thing uses up 5-6 standard daily so whatever cooking is dont know b/c we cant cut up the cables without getting trouble (probably heheh and put a meter in between) and theres a boiler underneath the sink that heats directly too

this sounds closer to how we used to be when we were one (with a side of aliens like drill and alice) ....

obsessed when on something, everything is watthours now, but until we get that panel and fix it up to work its probably gonna stay, sadly theres not much more to measure out here

the solar panels claim 10,611 kwh today (generated i suppose that part means) so with cooking and washing and dishes and stuff you just do unless you're in a warzone its probably at an all-minimum like this - the only gas since last winter has been a few m³ to see how much it uses on lowest per hour and the accumulators have had one on for 30 minutes (to count, you can REALLY count THAT in 30 minutes ...)

first solar panel - wherever it has to come from ... and these things you know that thing about 80-20 ... i read on hopeccker (industrial german) they say "dont below 50" to prolongue life and the math shows you get more hours than if you do 80-20 (well, the stat ...), they claim 3000(+) cycles , thats as good as ten year if you dont over use it
