Moving forward, we will be posting our favorite betting picks for upcoming UFC events. We have been following MMA very closely for many years and have a fairly decent track record of determining fight outcomes. You can follow our picks and keep track of our record and if you feel that we are doing a good job, place small wagers on our picks.
We don't recommend gambling, but if we can predict the outcome of an event more often than not, and act responsibly, we don't think there's anything wrong with making a little bit of money. Before placing any bets, we highly recommend you research a proven money management system, so you can lessen your probability of ruin.
We may dedicate future posts to money management systems, but for now, we will just stick to what we feel are highly favorable bets.
We will only focus on UFC events, as this is where our expertise mainly lies.
So, let's get into it.... we have a few picks for UFC 218 that we would like to share.
There's one that we're super excited about, Eddie Alvarez vs Justin Gaethje. We think this is going to be a real war, given these two fighters styles, and anticipate a good fight. We are picking Justin Gaethje to win, and win convincingly. We feel that this will most likely be a stand up brawl, and because of this, Gaethje will have a significant advantage.
Our second pick is Max Holloway. We're picking him to win over Jose Aldo. We feel that this fight will play out very similarly to the last one, and Max will once again win in convincing fashion. A few reasons why are, that he is bigger and will have the advantage in the striking department, the main area where the fight will likely take place, and Aldo does not seem like he has the same level of motivation he once did.
On paper, these two fighters are fairly evenly matched, with the exception being, Max throws and lands more strikes. All else being equal, we feel this is what will make the difference in this fight, the same way it did in their last one.
This is what we have for now. Please revisit this post periodically, leading up to fight night, as we will most likely be including an additional pick or two.
