In December of 2020, as part of the covid 19 economic stimulus package, the United States legislature enacted the Intelligence Authorization Act. In accordance with the newly passed act, intelligence officials are required to release all unclassified documents pertaining to unidentified aerial phenomena and requires pentagon officials to to issue a report regarding this subject to congress by june 6, 2021.
John Ratcliffe served as Director of National Intelligence from 2020 - 2021.
In an interview with Fox News, Ratcliffe stated that the upcoming U.S. Government report regarding UFOs will be "difficult to explain".
Ratcliffe said that the soon to be released report by the Pentagon and other federal agencies will offer more information to the American people.
In the interview with Fox News, John Ratcliffe made these stunning statements:
“And when we talk about sightings, we are talking about objects that have been seen by Navy or Air Force pilots, or have been picked up by satellite imagery that frankly engage in actions that are difficult to explain.
Movements that are hard to replicate that we don’t have the technology for. Or traveling at speeds that exceed the sound barrier without a sonic boom.”
"the sightings, which have been reported across the globe, extend beyond just a pilot or just a satellite, or some intelligence collection. Usually we have multiple sensors that are picking up these things … some of these are unexplained phenomena, and there is actually quite a few more than have been made public”
The Pentagon announced in September that it created an Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force. They will be giving updates every 6 months to the Senate Intelligence Committee.
At this point it is unclear what new evidence will be included in the upcoming government report, or to what extent officials will go towards admitting to the existence of extraterrestrial life.
We may finally get some answers in June.
