What you can carry to the exam centre on the exam day?
The UGC NET 2021 will be a computer-based test and you will be provided with a pen/pencil and some blank sheets to do your rough work in. However, you will be allowed to carry your own pen/pencil to the centre of the examination.
What you CANNOT carry to the exam centre on the exam day?
You would not be allowed to carry any electronic gadget. Device, instrument, or metallic item to the exam hall. You should also note that there also might not be any provision for you to keep your valuables for safekeeping anywhere in the exam centre. Therefore, make your decisions accordingly. Things that would be not be allowed to be taken inside the exam hall include:

- Calculator

You won’t be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolates, candy or sandwiches or any other food item for that matter. However, if you are diabetic, you’ll be allowed to carry eatables like fruits, sugar tablets, and water bottles, but only the ones that are transparent.
