𝕥𝕖𝕒𝕞𝕙𝕦𝕞𝕓𝕝𝕖 // 2nd of March 2k18 // effectively locked in by the snow and winds

Dayum! Well this snow and wind system is no joke, we are heading out shortly to a short walk to the shop and back in the hope that it’s open and we can get some supplies, this weather is no joke however so we are not going far and then it’s back to basecamp!

Woke up and heard the sad news that a rapper I used to watch as part of KOTD has died (bender) I have no idea what happened if it was a health thing or what, yet to find out what the circumstances are, either way, sad times and I pass on my condolences to the family and kotd family. sucks.

Going through the process of updating all my e-residency Estonian digital id this morning as well, I’m hoping for an easy process, I’ve gotta dig out the card reader and such and update all the passwords and I presume some new firmware or code written to the card (https://e-resident.gov.ee/digital-id/update-digital-id-certificates) I’ve really gotta get using that more.

I put out the first draft version of the OBS template for live streamers last night, I’m probably ahead of the curve on that one but I wanted to put something up to help other people who wanted to get started, I’m gonna be looking at dtube and dmania today as well as I start to put together the current ecosystem as a training tutorial for using the steem blockchain.

I’ve not got my daughter today and tomorrow because of the weather so I want to make sure I make the best use of that time instead of lazying about, when you get weather systems like this and look up and see that you have rolled into another money it really lights a fire under ya ass! :)

We just got all the chores done as well, more water supplies and doing the pots so we can actually eat later on today, we have some sushi we made at like 11pm last night to finish off on today at some point, we got backup water and we bought some wine. We are set for another 48hrs at least.

The biggest downside for today is that I won’t see my daughter this weekend, the weather pretty much prohibits that today and tomorrow, we can’t take the risk that it’s not gonna come down again (snow) and the roads are blocked with snow etc, it’s too much of a gamble.

Obviously, I’m kinda sad I won’t get to see my girl this weekend, especially as my body clock expects me to switch into dad mode and get involved with buses and such like, those little daddy daughter hugs can really recharge the mental health batteries, trust me on that.

a pretty bleak outlook for the day ahead, so it’s batten down the hatches once more and take another snow beating I guess! Time to start back into making mode, it’s still a friday after all.

Well, it’s lunchtime, time for lunch time snacks then and get started into the day, I want to post up a few more videos today so it’s time to get that greenscreen up after some lunchtime gaming, need to mentally hard reset before I get into ‘work’ as we call it here in virtual working land.
