#ulog day 13 | halal bi halal our village youth

On the fifth day of Eid al-Adha yesterday our village youth did halal bi halal Eid al-Adha 1439 H to Lhok Keutapang, Tangse District, Pidie Regency. Even though it is far from our village, it is not an obstacle for our village youth.


We carry one Dam car, and the other carries a motorcycle. My friends and I drive motorbikes, while cooking utensils, cooking spices and of course one goat we bring there using a Dam car.


Arriving there we immediately took the place right to the right of the stairs. Geunie river water which is so cold and clear becomes a panoramic view of the atmosphere. We slaughter a goat there as a food side dish of rice friends.


We work together to prepare curry goat dishes, some wash rice, some wash dishes and glasses, some turn on the fire, some peeling goat skin and cutting goat skins, some preparing stoves and containers for cooking and some who tunes music as entertainment so that it's not too rigid.


While the little ones are busy with their own pleasure, they all bathe in the Geunie river with cold water. There are two large stones, the stone is used as a springboard, which is to jump from the rock into the river. They really enjoyed it.

When everything was ripe and already served, we both ate the food, the little boy who was already tired of taking a bath in the river also rushed ashore to have lunch together.

It was an atmosphere that we rarely felt, traveled far with the village youth, cooked there together and bathed in the river together. We really enjoyed it. We are grateful, that the compactness of our village youth is still awake, and hopefully always maintained like this. So, my story today, thank you.
