Let's start on a festive note. Two of us came in to run the office over the holiday. Christmas Day was rather show for travel surprisingly. Once we finished monitoring all our areas, we went back to the hangar and made breakfast. We had ham, mashed potatoes, sausage, eggs, rolls, and of course coffee.
Oh and my co-worker said "let's do a PJ party!" I relented and brought in a Minecraft shirt and green fleece pants with gnomes on them. I wasn't gonna wear them walking around the airport though! My excuse was I didn't have enough pockets...
He caught a pic of me, so I snagged one of him too!
So we dressed up, ate food, and watched cartoons for the rest of the day.
But that's it for the good day. Today the kiosk server went down and caused them to not connect. This issue created some serious back log of people, some claiming to have stood in line for 3 hours.
3 hours after that, we finally got support to show up. We had to wait for them to figure out what we had already told them, then they finally called the server people, and we had to wait for them to go over everything yet again, and then they restarted the server. And all was well...for everyone but the people who couldn't check in.
Then we had 2 systems die at the gates and we had to replace those. Then back to the office for breakfast at noon.
